Exciting news from our 8th grade math class! Our students are diving into the world of transformations that maintain size and shape! They’ve been learning how shapes can be translated (slid), reflected (flipped), or rotated (spun) on the coordinate plane. To make these concepts come to life, we’ve been using Geoboards and rotational plates for hands-on exploration. It’s been amazing to see their creativity and understanding grow!
