The students in Mrs. Anderson’s Biology class are using compound light microscopes to explore prepared slides of a variety of plant and animal cells.
Today the students and staff came together for a Thanksgiving Feast! Thank you so much to our incredible lunch staff for putting together the delicious meal!
Today, our middle school and high school students participated in a mock election to practice voting. They filled out their ballots and dropped them into an official ballot box, getting a real sense of the voting process. Now, they’re eagerly awaiting the election results! Such a great way to learn about civic responsibility!
The students had a morning filled with Halloween fun at school! They dressed in costumes to parade around school and then outside to the trunk or treat. Thank you to all the families, friends, and community members that came to hand out candy!

Teamwork on Halloween may seem spooky!
The students are doing a Separations Lab as they learn about chemical and physical properties of elements in mixtures!
The 10th grade students took on a fun and creative challenge that combined critical thinking with hands-on learning. Each group was tasked with building a small arrangement of LEGO bricks. But here’s the twist: they then had to write clear, step-by-step instructions for a classmate to recreate that exact arrangement—without showing them the original! It was a great way to practice communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail!
To mark the end of Quarter 1 and H.S midterms, we began the school day with a sweet celebration! The students enjoyed some well-deserved donuts and juice.
