Meet two of our actors, Jase O’Brien and Kassie Zembrzuski, who play the sarcastic and witty duo Claire and Marilyn in our show, One Stoplight Town!
What sort of person is going to love this show?
Kassie: Someone who is interested in theater!
Jase: Small-town people 🙂
What’s challenging about bringing this script to life?
Kassie: The acting–how to be in character, and understand your character and their personality
Jase: Trying to bring the character to life when they are the opposite of you.
Why did you want to be involved in this production?
Kassie: I did it last year.
Jase: It was something new to try.
Who in the show is most like their character?
Kassie: Makaila

Kassie: Mazey

What do you love about this character?
Kassie: She’s sassy.
Jase: I like how innocent she is.
Without giving anything away, what’s your favorite line of dialogue?
Kassie: “Don’t ever ask me to peel you again, Claire.”
Jase: “Did you find a way to give Bob a surprise shower of his own?”
What’s your advice to anyone wanting to do the play next year?
Kassie: Know your lines.

Meet two of our actors, Morgan Stazak and Makaila Gonzalez, who are Jim/Flash and Sally in our show, One Stoplight Town!
What sort of person is going to love this show?
Morgan: Somebody with very specific humor!
Makaila: People who live in this town.
What’s challenging about bringing this script to life?
Morgan: Nothing is that hard about it. 🙂
Makaila: Probably working with so many different people I’ve never worked with before.
Why did you want to be involved in this production?
Morgan: I like theater! (He belongs on SNL, Graff mentions.)
Makaila: Because of the director! 🙂

Morgan: Makaila
Makaila: Me!

Morgan: Me
Makaila: Dakota
What do you love about this character?
Jillian: I like Flash’s mannerisms.
Makaila: How she reminds me to be in the future–a queen. 🙂
Without giving anything away, what’s your favorite line of dialogue?
Morgan: “I think you’re desperately in love with me! LOL Imagine.”
Makaila: “I love your mother, but that thing is ugly. #facts!”
What’s your advice to anyone wanting to do the play next year?
Morgan: Make sure to improvise.
Makaila: Be ready for it to take up a lot of your time-in a good way! 🙂

Meet two of our actors, Jillian Anderson and Madison Cirrincione, who are Prodigal Daughter/Polly and Runaway in our show, One Stoplight Town!
What sort of person is going to love this show?
Jillian: I say people who have lived in this town for most of their lives and can relate the most!
Maddy: I think most of the people that live here or have recently moved here.
What’s challenging about bringing this script to life?
Jillian: For me, the most challenging part to bringing it to life is having a conversation while trying to remember your lines.
Maddy: Probably the longer monologues and adding movement into it!
Why did you want to be involved in this production?
Jillian: It’s something I really enjoyed doing last year and something I was really proud of!
Maddy: I thought that it would be something fun to do and maybe even make a career out of!
Who in the show is most like their character?
JIllian: Morgan
Maddy: Dakota
Who’s the least?
Jillian: Mazey
Maddy: I also say Mazey.
What do you love about this character?
Jillian: I love being the “all-knowing” and being able to guide my partner through a hard time AND getting to argue with Morgan without getting into trouble! 🙂
Maddy: I get to be sassy! 🙂
Without giving anything away, what’s your favorite line of dialogue?
Jillian: “Eggs belong on a breakfast plate, not on a burger.”
Maddy: “Don’t ever ask me to peel you again, Claire!”
What’s your advice to anyone wanting to do the play next year?
Jillian: Just go for it! Don’t be worried if it will be scary, just go for it and have fun with it!
Maddy: Be loud and be proud!

DZ: Old, cranky people 🙂
MS:A person that has lived in a small town for a long time!
What’s challenging about bringing this script to life?
DZ: Having to get cranky enough
MS: Memorizing it!
Why did you want to be involved in this production?
DZ: It’s a little different than what I normally do.
MS: It sounded fun!

DZ: Makaila
MS: Kassie

DZ: Me!
MS: Dakota
What do you love about this character?
DZ: I love that he likes making fun of things.
MS: I love that she’s kind of sarcastic like me.

DZ: “Stupid stoplight!”
MS: “Oh, Bob! I am one of that us. I also happen to like this stoplight!”
What’s your advice to anyone wanting to do the play next year?
DZ: Really pay attention, listen, and really learn your lines. After you get them down, you’re good!
MS: Make sure you can find time for the play in your schedule and know your lines!
